Well if I am writing this post it means that the blog tour for Love You Bad has sadly come to an end – did you discover how twisted this book was?

Let us recap with snippets from the posts.

Saturday 17th July kicked the weekend off but also the tour,

The Word is Out – Alyson’s Reviews (FB) shares this review, “This is a dark compelling story that kept me completely hooked and on the edge of my seat throughout, and the great news is that there is a sequel coming soon which I can’t wait to read!”

Donna’s Interviews, Reviews and Giveaways (FB) also has this to say, “It is a gripping read, especially as the story progresses to the finale.”

Bookworm1346 (IG) was gripped, “This book is very gripping and as with any good psychological thriller, is full of twists and turns that keep the reader intrigued to read on and find out what is happening.”

Cover2Cover Blog head was spinning, “Love You Bad is a whirlwind suspense following two particularly unlikable characters. Written in not only two timelines, but also in dual point of view, this murder mystery is anything but boring.”

18th July is a Sunday, a day of rest, well not here!

The Magic of Wor(l)ds shares this extract, “I let her take the lead, let her think she was in control as she led me from the casino and back to her suite. She closed the door behind us and walked me to the bed.”

Portable Magic puts Louise under the spotlight as we find out whether has always wanted to write, the inspiration for #LoveYouBad and her favourite TV Show, plus so much more

Jessica Belmont shares this review, “There’s a sense of fear that creates an intriguing atmosphere. I enjoyed the writing style. The chapters a short, which kept the pacing perfect.”

Sharon Beyond the Books found it tense, “This is a gripping and tense read that only increases as you plough through the short chapters that alternate between the characters and timelines too. It keeps you on a knife-edge as the secrets begin to unfurl throughout. All of these things together create fabulous twists and turns.”

Wendyreadsbooks (IG) was intrigued, “The short chapters definitely kept the story interesting and I was intrigued to find out how it all ended as there were so many different twists”

Monday, 19th July, is here! Start of a fresh new week! This means new posts!

b for bookreview shares this exclusive extract, “I lean back and rest my spine on the cushions of my window seat, reflecting on the face that stares at me. Her hollow-eyes, pale skin, dark hair, dry lips. She doesn’t look how I feel. Content. Appreciative. Privileged. Instead she appears haunted.”

Lyndas_bookreviews (IG) didn’t see it coming, “Bodies mounting up, secrets coming to light and twists and turns a plenty. A big one at the end of the book I didn’t see coming.”

readinginthelight (IG) was glued to her book, “The writing kept me gripped throughout – the short chapters, switching between the characters plus the then and now timeframes all attributed to this. As the story unfolds, so do the secrets, resulting in thrilling twists and turns.”

Tuesday 20th, and the week has kicked in,

Splashes into Books wrote a poem, “From the start this is dramatic and very stark One filled with danger and suspense so dark. With unexpected twist and turns galore It keeps you turning pages, more and more.”

Honestmamreader shares this review, “Louise Mullins has plotted out an excellent story here. It is written in a way that we aren’t completely sure of how the characters connect and are constantly questioning what’s going on. This is why I don’t want to delve into the plot of the story in the review as I’m conscious I may slip up and spoil it.”

twoladiesandabook (IG) had this to day, “What I particularly enjoyed about this book, is that from the very start it’s instantly intriguing. Its short and snappy with non stop drama and action.”

library_of_lucyg (IG) gave it 5 stars, “This is an easy five star read for me – this has everything you’d expect of a psychological thriller and I can not express how much I enjoyed this.”

Brewtiful Fiction shares the final review of the day, “Sometimes you just need a short, snappy read to get you out of a reading slump and that is just what Louise Mullin’s novel Love You Bad managed to do for me.”

Happy Hump – 21st July – day! It can only mean one thing, more posts for you to read to get you through the week,

A Knight’s Reads puts Louise under the spotlight as we find out what books she likes to read, who reads her first draft and what her mastermind subject would be, plus more!

Dawn’s Book Reviews (FB)had one more chapter syndrome, “The short chapters make it easy to say “one more chapter” so it’s a really fast read when combined with great writing and a need to reach the conclusion.”

Featz Reviews shares her thoughts, “This book will leave your head spinning from page to page. It is a unique, complex story with a lot happening guaranteed to keep you glued to the pages.”

It;s the penultimate day today, on 22nd July

Thrill of the Page shares this review, “The chapters are super short, which is why I was able to read this one so quickly! It worked perfect with the quick pacing of the story.”

Books In My Opinion couldn’t stop reading, “Atmospheric writing and believable characters mean it’s a little bit like car crash tv. You can’t believe what you are reading, but you can’t stop either.”

Run Away Irish Girl was getting creeped out, “Throughout this story there is a very dark and dangerous undertone which was creeping ne out. I could feel the mounting tension and was becoming uncomfortable myself with the way the story was going feeling for the main character Kerenza.”

23rd July means one thing, the last day of the tour 🙁

Read the Week has Tarantino on the brain, “‘Love You Bad’ had a Pulp Fiction-esque narrative where the consumer has to piece together the different timelines to get answers to the mystery.”

Cheryl M-M’s Book Blog wasn’t a fan of Dominic but she has this to say, “Mullins creates a crime within a crime in this dark domestic thriller. It’s an interesting example of how easy it is for someone to get drawn into a toxic relationship and find it difficult to leave, especially when the world around you refuses to acknowledge the toxicity.”

Julie Loves Reading was hooked, “This is a fast paced read that will have you hooked from the first page.”

What did we learn?

Well there maybe a sequel in the works it’s a bit like pulp fiction with so many twists and turns. Dominic is really vile and no one actually likes him. It is a particularly gripping book and it’s one that doesn’t want to let go!

Well that is most certainly a wrap

Love You Bad is out now and available to buy at Amazon UK and Amazon US

Until the next adventure xxx
