Keeping it strictly professional...
Radio DJ Lula Lazenby isn’t often lost for words, but this time she’s speechless! The man she just shared an exquisite one night with turns out to be her new boss…and his first job is to fire her!
Executive Tristan Bamfield wasn’t planning to stay in London long. Turn up, handle his father’s business and leave. But his inconvenient and instantaneous attraction to Lula has really gone and complicated things!
Tristan is a professional and everyone deserves a second chance – especially when you can’t escape the red-hot memories so he quickly reinstates Lula. Until that leads to weeks of tantalizing torture working with Lula in the studio.
Tristan’s not here for a happy ever after, but his challenge now is going to be figuring out how to keep their off-the-charts attraction under wraps until it’s time to leave.
Previously published as Fired By Her Fling.
This was cute and very compact! I loved that we didn’t have pages and pages of angst. Instead, we had pages which showed me a realistic “forbidden” love—forbidden because they made it so.
I thought Lulu was a lovely girl, very unsure of herself and what she could do – so typical of a lot of women I know. To me, she was the everyday woman, trying to get what she wanted in life and fairly. Tristian, the good-looking suitor, he’d been stung, didn’t trust and was very quick not to believe Lulu and what had happened to her. I love that things didn’t run smoothly, both battling very real problems and then it all coming together at the end. Talking of which, the spice! The spice that was there, well let’s just say, good thing I had headphones on when listening to the audio book – jeez! A bit explicit but very tantalising and did I say spicy?
I really enjoyed this one, I listened to it in practically one sitting as the audio book was a little under 5 hours. A good way to beat the Monday blues for sure! I miss Lulu already!
Until the next time xxx
