About the Book
Paul Mitchell is a young vet working at a busy animal hospital on the south coast of England, where no two days, or patients, are ever the same. From a lipstick‑wearing woolly monkey who swallows a bolt, to a pygmy goat with a hoof lodged in its windpipe, a runaway anaconda, and even a cow stuck high in a tree, Paul finds himself facing challenges that are as unpredictable as they are unforgettable.
Pets on the Prowl is a warm, funny and wonderfully chaotic collection of real‑life veterinary adventures that animal lovers will devour. Packed with heart, humour and extraordinary creatures, it’s the perfect read for anyone who enjoys stories that celebrate the bond between humans and the animals who keep life interesting.
