A fresh start… or a living hell?
Jess’s life is back on track again: the messy divorce, bitter inheritance feud, and terrifying home invasion are well and truly behind her.
After two years abroad, she is excited for a new beginning in a sleepy English seaside town where nobody knows her.
So when Jess is attacked in the street, she thinks it’s rotten luck – her troubles are firmly in the past, after all. But, as more creepy things start to happen, she becomes convinced she’s being targeted.
As the frightening events escalate, Jess is certain someone she thought she’d left behind has finally caught up with her – and they want revenge. But who? And just how far will they go to push her over the edge and into oblivion?
Well did we discover whether Jess had a fresh start or a living hell? Not sure, then check out these reviews!

Review by twilight_reader (IG), “The flow of the conversations really bought this book to life for me. I loved the flow of the writing so much. This is probably one of the best psychological thrillers I’ve ever read.”
Review by Fireflies and Free Kicks, “The reader knows there is something nefarious unfurling – but the full extent of it is not clear until the author is ready for it to be. And when that happens, hold on, because everything happens very fast.”

Review by Sue Loves to Read, “A brilliant read. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I loved Jess character. She was my favourite”
Review by emmabBooks, “Chapter 1 ends with a shock, and sets the pace for this realistic, involving thriller. As the story unfolds, so Jess has suspicions about who is doing this to her, and I found myself engaged with her as a character, and scared for her. Throughout there are plenty of surprises and loads for the reader to wonder about.”

Review by Allys Reading Corner, “This was a very twisty read, from the get go I didn’t quite know who to trust, and as the events kept unfolding and more and more people were added to the mix it became even harder to judge what was real and what was fake.”
Review by Donna’s Interviews, Reviews and Giveaways (FB), “This is a great engaging relatively easy read, although the tension is high throughout.”
