About Aidan K. Morrissey
Aidan is a published author of novels, poetry, and short fiction. His debut novel, The Awakening Aten (2019), was followed by The Atenisti, a fast-paced international thriller praised for its gritty realism. His latest work, Tácnbora: Exile and Pagans, is the first in a historical series set in early medieval Northumbria, with the second book forthcoming.
Alongside his writing, Aidan is the founder of Larbok Creative, offering creative writing services, manuscript assessment, and mentoring for writers. He runs one of the UK’s most active creative writing groups, with around 200 members, and is a UK editor for Historical Novel Review as well as a reader and judge for several international writing competitions.
A lawyer by profession, Aidan has lived and worked in Italy, Germany, Brazil, the United States, and India, experiences that continue to shape his writing and storytelling. He is now based in Northumberland, where the landscape and history inspire his work.
