Review by Bookworm1346 (IG), “The characters really make this book. I really enjoyed their journey. I felt that the way the author portrayed the characters, it really added to the mystery and tension created in the chapters

Review by Books by Bindu, “The scenes between Hadley and Issa I thought were the best in the book – they radiated peace somehow. Don’t get me wrong there is a lot of action and twists and turns in this book to keep you hooked! Also, I wonder if there will be a second book as you can’t leave it there!

Review by Donna’s Interviews, Reviews and Giveaways (FB), “I know for sure there is more about this world than can ever be explained, and why cant it be for the reasons suggested within these pages.

Review by Morelli’s Reads, “Two Truths is a well researched and well written novel, and Carver clearly knows her Bible verse as there are numerous references throughout…It’s a book for fans of Dan Brown though!

Review by Read the Week, “I was kept engaged by the continuous tension in Carver’s writing, the changing perspectives also kept me on the edge of my seat as I was always keen to get back to each characters own personal plot.

Extract at The Magic of Wor(l)ds, ““Why do I have to go to New Zealand for you to tell me?” “Because it’ll be safer there.” Hadley noticed he said safer. Not safe.

Review by twilight_reader (IG), “I don’t think I really understood ‘two truths’ until entering the final quarter of the book. But once I did the theory was wonderful.

Review by Duckfacekim09 (IG), “I’m not a fan of overly descriptive books and this one handled description in the most perfect way, setting the scene whilst actively telling the story, rather than saying ‘this is how the scene looked’.

12th September

Extract at Jazzy Book Reviews, “The flashlight clicked off and they were gone. The phone, still cradled in the crook of her neck, was silent.“Hello?” Brett said.“Brett?” It was Hadley’s soft voice.“Hadley, get Dad please.”“He’s gone.”

Review by Sue Loves to Read, “A religious psychological thriller. A good read with likeable characters

Review bySharon Beyond the Books, “A captivating novel that is written in a way that makes you take in every word, so the story unravels and it’s almost as though you can savour it. Each chapter alternates between each character, so we get each point of view and we follow each journey as they unfold.

Review by beth.readsbooks (IG), “I really enjoyed reading this book! The twists had me so intrigued. I will definitely be reading more of Carver’s work!”

Extract at What a Croatian Girl Reads, “Sara slouched in her chair. She had learned these things too, but they didn’t excite her like they did Penny. What did all this have to do with their fathers anyway?

14th September

b for bookreview puts Dana in the spotlight, we learn where she prefers to write, who she would love to co-write a book with, how she picks the cover for her books and so much more

Review by Herding Cats, “It has a fantasy aspect but written with a realistic approach and it is woven through the ‘quests’ of three sisters to find out who murdered their father after he moved the family to New Zealand.”

Review by Book Read 2day, “I loved this novel with its short chapters introducing each family member. This book was a special one to me as I love reading about fictional families with obstacles in their way.
