About Lucy Francis
Having started off in fine art, I made my way from London to Suffolk and finished the stories during lock down when I was furloughed. After extensive mentoring, rewriting and much gnashing of teeth I finally held a copy of Hairy Tales of Hopland! in my hands. Writing Hairy Tales of Hopland! has been one of the best experiences of my life, so far, and certainly the most engaging. Why did I write it? To stave off the boredom of every day life, and once I started, I couldn't stop!
