Myra has terminal cancer. She has chosen to end her life surrounded by the people she loves. I’ve come home to say goodbye. But her daughter, my best friend Dorian, isn’t here. She vanished in a thunderstorm two years ago. Her car turned up in a national park.

Liz Lukavic grew up in Melbourne, spent her adolescence in south-west Western Australia before returning to Victoria to complete her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Publishing and Communications.
When not writing, Liz enjoys travelling to nearby regional towns, leafing through recipe books, and rearranging her house plants.
