Three years ago, Lily Thomas came to Rowan Bay looking for a fresh start. She found it at a cosy inn on the shores of Loch Lomond — and made it the heart of the village.

Ellie Henderson is the author of the Scottish Romance series, which includes her debut romance, A Summer Wedding on Arran, and A Christmas Escape to Arran, which was in the Amazon Top 100 for several weeks, and A Christmas Wish on Arran.
She has been a writer in residence with Luminate and Erskine Care Homes and Women’s Aid East and Midlothian. This work has twice been nominated in the Write to End Violence Against Women Awards. In 2022 she was appointed as the first storyteller-in-residence at the Fringe by the Sea festival in North Berwick, East Lothian.
She is also part of the Scottish Book Trust's Live Literature Author Directory.
Ellie particularly interested in creative writing for health and well-being and run a small social enterprise in East Lothian, Sharing A Story CIC, where they use creative writing, shared reading and other creative methods to reduce social isolation and build confidence.
