You had brought me tea and scrambled eggs in bed, and we snuggled together, talking about buying our rings, and then about our wedding later next year.
Then we had chosen the rings. You held my hand and gazed thoughtfully at the ring I liked best, a smile spreading slowly over your face. Then champagne at Selfridges to celebrate. We talked about the beautiful lilac flowers I had chosen for the wedding, the number of bottles of wine we had bought for the day and if we needed more. I felt flushed, excited and content.
We race to get the train home. It screams to a halt and I run towards its open doors. Made it.

Meet Rebecca Collomosse
Rebecca Collomosse is a journalist with more than 20 years’ experience.
She has worked on both business and women’s magazines, writing true life stories for magazines including Bella, That’s Life, Real People and Take a Break.
She is currently an editor of three magazines within the shipping sector.

We are deeply invested in creating and maintaining our authors’ careers as writers. Each new title is edited with passion and each new cover is designed with a keen eye on how the book will reach its readers. We have signed debut novelists, such as Taylor Adams and Victoria Dowd, and well-established authors, such as Faith Martin and Joy Ellis, and launched them into the book-reading world with genuine enthusiasm for seeing them succeed. As a result, our authors have become some of the most read in the UK, consistently topping the Amazon Kindle and Audible charts for weeks at a time with every new release.
